Privacy policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use dushas.vip, how it is used, and your rights under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981.

Who we are

The website is operated by the owners of Dusha's in Ramot, Moshav Ramot, Golan Heights, Israel. Contact: 050-920-0080 or WhatsApp.

What we do not collect

There is no sign-up or public contact form, and we do not use analytics, advertising cookies or marketing trackers.

Information created when you use the site

Contacting us on WhatsApp or by phone: we receive only what you choose to share – your name, phone number, message and the dates you selected in the calendar – and use it only to reply and manage your booking. WhatsApp's (Meta's) own privacy policy also applies.
Hosting and security: the website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.
Map: the Google map loads only if you click "Show the map". From then on Google may collect data under its own policy.
Accessibility settings: your choices in the accessibility menu are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device and are never sent to us.
Fonts: fonts are served from our own website, with no requests to outside services.

Guests who have booked

Once a booking is arranged, we keep the guest's details: first and last name, phone, email, stay dates, number of guests and the agreed price. Before arrival the guest receives a personal link to sign the stay agreement. On signing we also store the full agreement text, the typed name, the handwritten signature (if drawn), the time of signing, IP address, browser details and a digital fingerprint of the document.

Purposes: managing the booking and stay, contacting the guest, and documenting the agreement as evidence in case of a dispute.
Obligation to provide: there is no legal obligation, but the booking cannot be completed without these details. Guests are also told this on the signing page.
Access: the owners only, through a secure sign-in with a one-time code sent to their email. Actions in the management area are logged.
Storage: in a Cloudflare database whose servers may be located outside Israel, subject to the hosting provider's data-protection commitments.
Retention and deletion: signed agreements and the details of guests who signed are kept for up to 7 years after the stay, in line with the limitation period, and then deleted. Details of a guest who did not sign are deleted on request or when no longer needed.
Changes to the agreement: a signed agreement is kept exactly as signed and cannot be edited. Any change to the agreement text is saved as a new version.

Cookies and storage on your device

The public website uses no cookies at all – no analytics, advertising or tracking – which is why it does not ask for cookie consent.

Accessibility settings (browser local storage, named dushas-a11y): saved only if you choose a setting in the accessibility menu, so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it with "Reset settings" or in your browser settings.
Google map: loads only after you click "Show the map". From then on Google may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Management area (owners only): Cloudflare Access sets essential sign-in cookies (CF_Authorization, CF_AppSession) to secure the sign-in.

Sharing

We do not sell or pass on personal information to third parties, except the service providers listed above or where required by law.

Retention and security

Enquiry and booking details are kept only as long as needed to handle your booking and meet legal obligations. The site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), and the management area is restricted to the owners.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted, in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law. A signed agreement is kept for as long as it is needed as evidence under law. Please contact us using the details above.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
